CAIRNS CRICKET ASSOCIATION - Endeavour Park
Project
In mid 2015, Nuleaf was contracted to design, supply and install a sustainable, efficient yet effective Commercial Sports Field Irrigation System for Cairns Cricket Association's Endeavour Park Grounds, Cairns. These works where completed and commissioned within three weeks of the start date.
Irrigation System
Design, supply, trench, connect, test, backfill and top dress of field.
The irrigation system consisted of a 90mm Pn 12.5 Ring main and 2'' Pn 9 poly laterals. Toro 640 Pop-ups installed on articulated riser assemblies fed thru Irritrol 2'' Solenoid Valves with individual isolation valves and controlled by Toro Decoders with Toro Decoder Controller.
Bore Pump
Supply and install a Franklin Electric Variable Speed Drive 6 inch submersible bore pump, to supply the newly automated sports field. The bore pump was supplied with an ABB Drive, programmed to run as a constant pressure system, supply on demand. The pump was installed on 75mm Crusader Flexibore 200 rising main with associated stainless steel couplings.
